A word from the President of the FISM

Domenico Dante, FISM President

My Dear Friends of Magic,

Competition is not only a priority for FISM but also a significant time to assess your performance, improve and express your creativity.

Don’t let this opportunity pass you by – I am aware that this is by no means easy, but you will reap the benefits.

I wish you good luck and acknowledge your commitment to improving the art of magic.

A word from the President of FISM North America

Dear Friends,

The North American Championship of Magic has become more competitive over the years. But it doesn’t stop there. Those who have gone before will tell you that there is a comradery among those who compete that can last a lifetime. Over the years, North America has been fortunate to have had over 15 FISM winners, from Lance Burton to Shin Lim. Perhaps 2020 will be your road to the FISM World Championship of Magic. Check out the rules on this website and give it your best shot. Good luck!

A word from the President of Club de magie du Québec

Renée-Claude Auclair

On behalf of all the members of the Club de magie du Québec, I heartily encourage you to attend in large numbers to show your support to the magicians who will take part in the 4th North American Magic Championships (FISM), the 2020 Canadian Magic Championships and the "Michel Cailloux" International Magic Competition.  It is an honour for us to welcome you and enable contestants to gravitate towards their ultimate goal of becoming world champions in magic.

Welcome to all and great success to all contenders!

A word from the founder of CAM

Joan Caesar

I’m delighted that the Club Magie de Québec and the Canadian Association of Magicians are holding a combined convention in conjunction with FISM-North American Championship of Magic. It is especially exciting to be involved with FISM-North America 2020 because it is being held in Quebec City, Canada, one of the most historic cities in Canada. Bring your family and combine the convention with a family holiday. And don’t forget, competing in this competition is the only way for North Americans to win a competition spot at FISM the following year. Added to that value, contestants who are members of either the CMQ or CAM will have an opportunity to win prizes from each of those organizations.
